Instant Gratification.

Instant gratification..

Who doesn't like the sound of that?  Lets face it - it's so hard to wait for something you want in this day and age!

We want instant lunch, instant cure, instant miracles, instant salary, instant success— instant everything. This instant civilization, we have obsessed with, has made us grow a tad too impatient in virtually everything about life. And, of course, that doesn’t serve us so well.

Given that we made the somewhat spontaneous decision that we were going to make this trip happen.... it sure is taking F. O. R. E. V. E. R for the day to come when we'll be waving goodbye to what we've known and creating a new nomadic chapter in our lives!

We've began downsizing, but until we can pick up our new transient home, we can only plod along, slowly clearing out the things that don't get that much use in daily life.  Over the next few months I feel a slew of garage sales, gumtree ads and giveaways coming on... so if you're chasing ANYTHING - hit us up...  It may just work out in both our favours! LOL

Speaking of our home...  We are hoping that September will be our month!  It has been a loooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg  and somewhat emotional rollercoaster of a wait.. I really hope we have made the right decision and it is everything we're dreaming of.

I'm on the countdown to my last day within an organisation I have been part of for 10 years now.  A place that has provided many lessons - and just as many friendships.  For those that have been in a similar situation before, you'll know how hard each day becomes the closer it gets to the 'end'!!  I have 44 'work' days left over the next few months and would be lying if I said I wasn't feeling a little bit of mixed emotions!

Come on 2019!
